1. Who is responsible for your data

We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL). Where it applies to applicants in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we also follow the GDPR / UK GDPR.
2. What we collect

We do not ask for sensitive data such as religion or health, except accessibility or dietary needs that you choose to tell us so we can support you.

4. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed, and we never sell your personal data.
- Infinity Group companies that help run the Summit or the hiring initiative;
- Employers taking part in the hiring initiative, only if you consented;
- Travel and visa providers: airlines, travel agents, hotels, transport companies, and UAE government authorities for visa applications;
- Service providers who host our website and forms, send email, and process payments, such as [Stripe], [hosting provider] and [email provider];
- Analytics and advertising partners: Google (Analytics, Ads), Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and [Microsoft Clarity], to measure and improve our website and ads (see section 8);
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
Judges and mentors in the Founder Challenge see the pitch materials of finalists.
5. International transfers
Our team and some service providers are located outside your country, including in the UAE, the EU and the USA. When we transfer your data, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, as required by the PDPL and, where it applies, the GDPR.
6. How long we keep it
- Applications that are not selected: up to [12 months] after the Summit, so we can invite you to future editions, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Selected delegates and payment records: as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes, [up to 5 years].
- Passport copies: deleted within [90 days] after the Summit, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
- Hiring profiles: until you withdraw your consent, or [24 months] after the Summit.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can:
- access a copy of your data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time, including consent to share your profile with employers or to receive marketing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- complain to the UAE Data Office or your local data protection authority.
Email summit@theinfinitynextgen.com to use any of these rights. We will reply within [30 days]. We may need to confirm your identity first.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, understand how visitors use it, and measure our advertising:
- Essential: needed for forms, security and payment. These are always on.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 [and Microsoft Clarity].
- Advertising: Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and Google Ads tags. These help us measure which ads lead to applications and show relevant ads.
You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner [if implemented] or your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the site work.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (SSL), access controls and trusted service providers. No system is completely secure. Please contact us immediately if you think your data has been put at risk.
10. Age
The Summit is for applicants aged 18 to 50. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
11. Scam warning
We only contact applicants from @theinfinitynextgen.com [and @infinitygroupuae.com] email addresses. We never ask for payment for a job, and we never ask for your card PIN or bank passwords. If you receive a suspicious message in our name, report it to summit@theinfinitynextgen.com.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. We will email you about important changes.
