Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Application processing & shortlisting fee — USD 30

The USD 30 fee covers the processing of your application and the shortlisting and review work, which begins as soon as you submit your application. For this reason it is non-refundable in all cases, including when:

• you are not shortlisted or not selected for a funded seat;
• you withdraw your application or change your mind;
• your application is rejected because it is incomplete, ineligible or contains false information;
• you cannot travel, or your visa is refused.

Paying the fee does not guarantee shortlisting, selection, a funded seat, a visa or any other benefit.

Payment errors: if you were charged more than once, or charged an incorrect amount because of a technical error, we will return the extra amount. This is a correction of a payment error, not a refund of the fee.

2. Self-funded delegate seat — USD 999

Name transfer: Instead of cancelling, you may ask to transfer your self-funded seat to another eligible person up to [15 January 2027]. The new person must pass eligibility checks, and a visa must be obtainable in time. A [USD 50] admin fee applies.

3. Visa refusal

• Visa decisions are made by UAE authorities, not by us.
• If your visa is refused, email us the official refusal notice within [7 days] of receiving it. We will refund your self-funded seat payment minus the [USD 75] processing fee.
• Government visa fees already paid to the authorities are usually non-refundable. Where we paid them for you, they will not be refunded to you.
• A refund is not available if the visa was refused because of false or incomplete information you provided, or if you did not submit the required documents on time.

4. Funded delegates

• Funded delegates pay only the non-refundable USD 30 processing & shortlisting fee. Travel and hotel are arranged by us, so no other payment is refunded.
• If you can no longer travel, tell us as early as possible, and at least [14 days] before departure, so we can offer your seat to a reserve candidate.
• If you cancel late or do not travel without a valid reason (such as a documented medical emergency or visa refusal), we may ask you to reimburse non-refundable costs we have already paid, up to [USD 300]. We may also exclude you from future programmes.

5. Things we cannot refund

• Your own flights, hotels or travel costs that you booked yourself, unless we told you in writing that they are included;
• Bank, currency-conversion or international transaction fees charged by your bank;
• Costs caused by missed flights, late arrival, or travel changes you made yourself.

We recommend that all delegates buy travel insurance.

6. How to request a refund

1. Email summit@theinfinitynextgen.com with the subject “Refund Request – [Your Full Name]”.
2. Include your application ID, the email address you used to apply, your payment receipt, and the reason. For a visa refusal, attach the refusal notice.
3. We will reply within [5 business days]. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within [7–14 business days]. Your bank may take longer to show the credit.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. Most issues can be solved quickly by email. If a chargeback is filed while a refund request is already being processed, we may suspend the application until it is resolved.

8. Job applications

Applying for a job, interviewing and being hired through the 1,000 Opportunities initiative is always free. We will never ask for payment for a job, job offer or work permit. If anyone does, it is not us. Please report it to summit@theinfinitynextgen.com.
